But many people prefer BRIGHT to convert the 24 bit BMP files to 8 bit, since in many cases the quality is better.

Having trouble; I made some change in Photoshop CS2 to a templete I downloaded at skinnerspaintshop.com, I save it as a BMP file. Then put it in the right folder in IL2 but when I go to load it, it is not one of the choices. I have noticed that one difference between mine and the others it is mine is 24 bit ant the others are 8 bit. tried to save it as a 8 bit but that option is not avalible in CS2 when I save it, it is grayed over. Any ideas?
