Well, going by the feedback here after 128 views, the hurricane sux.
So I thought it must need an update . . .
It was the second profile template I had aver made and was looking a bit dated in detail and construction. I had a single layer for all the lighting, which was far too restrictive.
So I have reworked her a bit.

very nice, just try reworking your front cowling highlight, it is to low, needs to be higher and broarder.

Looks pretty damn good to me! I looked for a good photo of cross-section drawings showing the upper cowling contours, I couldn't find anything conclusive either way.
One thing I noticed while focusing in on the cowling is the tear drop bulge seems to stand a little too proud. It seems a bit more shallow in the photos.

Lovely work there Jesters! I like the Hurris myself and remember building one when I was a wee bit youngster in the late 60's.
