    B-17F "Knockout Dropper"

It's not as famous as the "Memphis Belle", but this plane made some history of it's own. It was the first 8th Air Force bomber to finish both 50 missions and later 75 missions. It's depicted as it was at the completion of it's 50th mission. I chose this plane since the ball turret gunner is from my hometown and still lives here.

I have a lot of work to do on this template. It was my first one and I really need to rearrange a lot of the layers and parts. You might see a v.2 of this sometime in the near future...

A fine job you've done too, wish I had the rivet lines . . . I'd be able to finish mine

A v.2 would be great! Try to give it a bit more weathering on the right (tail) side? You've done a fine job on the nose and engines, but the aft part of the aircraft doesn't seem as detailed.

Zamex has some good 17 plans. Have you asked him?

I was shown some by Craig, don't know if they were yours Zamex, but the ones I saw were proportionally too short, so they might not have been yours.

    Re: B-17F "Knockout Dropper"

They might have been mine Is the difference big? Honestly.. I never measured it, I did the drawing under time stress so I just took its basic lines from some other drawing and added details. I will put Jarink's profile on side and repair mydrawing later. Now, P-38s are to come...
