    Problem with Nose Art

I just make a nose art for a P-38 Photo Recon. I have all the layers on a grey background. I used "Bright" to make the .bmp file. When I copy and paste using the laso selection tool. When I past it on my aircraft it has a portion of the grey background on it. How can I get rid of the grey? Did I do something wrong when I made the Nose Art?

    Re: Problem with Nose Art

    mapal,

Are you pasting the nose art directly onto a skin, or creating a separate nose art .bmp file? (I am assuming this is for IL2).

If you are pasting directly onto a skin, you don't need to convert with Bright until after you have it pasted on. Also, you don't need to worry about having the grey background.

If you're creating a new noseart file to be used in game, make sure the grey background has an RBG value of 129:129:129 (HTML value 818181).

I hope this is of use to you.

    Re: Problem with Nose Art

Thanks, I appreciate the help. I'll give it a try tomorrow. I made the nose art seperate from the skin as it's own file, and put it through Bright. When I brought up my skin, I made a seperate layer then added the nose art by copy and paste.
