Re: Redone 110 series working WIP

Looks great, but why post low-rez crops? The full profile I can understand, I think you should show the details in all their undoubted glory, its probably the only time that most people will ever get to appreciate them.

Very nice texturing, Sparty, and those weld seams on the exhaust are beautiful. After seeing the small profiles, I was pleasantly surprised to see how large the file actually is. Nice work!

    LMAO!

No not yet but I've finally made the switch to PS from PSP. In 6 hours of work using PSP I can do the same with 2 hours of work in PS. Make things alot easier and was once of my main reasons for dropping so many projects.

Lookin' good bud! Tho I would like to see some darker fuselage shading maybe.

    Really REALLY nice work Sparty
But what about those fabric surfaces on the tail? A little exaggerated considering the real surfaces show little rib detail at all.
Not like these images are stellar but...

Can we see more close-ups please?

Re: Redone 110 series working WIP

I agree with BH on two points: show us more close-ups! One thing that strikes me is that the main gear strut looks too extended, as if it were in flight (not with the aircraft's weight on it). I might be wrong as I'm no 110 buff, but if I'm right it would be easy to correct, no? What do you think?

I like the way you've weathered the prop also. Looks very good!

BTW, what is that hole that looks like a keyhole on the fin? (Right of the swastika and beneath the pilot's hand on pic #1)???

AFAIK, it's on all production Bf 110s. I think the vertical stabilizer is the same from B to G models, only the rudder changes. It's some sort of actuator thingy that needs clearance.
