    Cool Nick the Japanese

    Friends,

another interesting ship, this 13th Sentai Ki-45 'Nick' captured at Cape Gloucester, New Guinea, in late 1943. Unusually, the camouflage was applied in the factory. The tail numeral 23 appears wonky as it was hand-painted in the field

Nice profile. You seem to like the less common subjects!

The fuselage seems to be a bit flat looking, especially compared to the engine nacelle. Too much shadow along the top half?

Jarink, yes, you're correct. I've fiddled with the lighting (which can never be right exclam) - Mclaring

I guess it's mostly a question of taste, but I rather prefer the 1st version. I like the roundness you gave to the engine nacelle.
