    Me163 Komet

    Hi all
    this morning I start a new project the Me163 Komet
    this is my first piece

    Hey Santy, it looks pretty good but some of your details and contours on the wheel are off. Sorry to bring bad news
    Take a look at this-

    The filler cover and some of the screws are missing but you can see the contour of the main wheel very good. Plus, look at the hub, the split in the axle center is really a pin.
    Tires with that style of tread are rare too, usually early prototypes or test planes. It's not wrong to have that style tire but this is the kind that the majority of 163 seem to have-

    Nice details here too like the tire size.
    Again, sorry to bring bad news but this, like most other Luftwaffe planes, is one of my favorites!!!

    But I use for my wheel this photos...

    BTW is not a problem make the other type of tire too

    hi santynus,

    just two points, first get some air in that tyre! second, make your splitpin double it's thickness, that one would not hold a kiddycar wheel on.
    apart from that, nice work.

    Wow, does anyone know any details about this flying Komet? Original or replica, and does it use the same fuels?

    i'd love to fly the thing, only thing's i'm trusted to fly are Parachutes,Microlights and Ultralights, generally in that order, love parachuting, after all it is part of my job as i said before santy keep it up
