This time, before I get into this, can anybody offer a more accurate line drawing than the one I've just made below. The inset is a 3D image I made some time ago, although I doubt if it will prove to be much help here. I've given the new one a tailwheel, incidentally, as I believe this became standard. I'm not likely to be able to visit one anywhere, so it might turn out a bit hit and miss. We'll just have to see.

Hey John, that's great. The first one seems to be the way to go. That one has the same tail shape as my follow-on, the Beaufighter, since it's part of the same family . Same thinking as when I did the Saabs. Good job we'd nobody to fight when this was our only front line machine. The bad news was that the 109 was already in the air at the same time as this.
I'll probably break it into bits again, as it speeds the work up enormously. What I'd really like is a look at the engine, but that's a bit unlikely, most folks don't have one of these gathering dust in the garage.
Thanks again. I owe you.

ahh yes the bristol Jupiter engine......
^OOOOOOH Shiny! i swear i'm a Magpie...
Seems one only has to ask. It's a bit like rubbing a genie bottle! Now we're cooking on gas. Much better than trying guess the detail. Thanks again.

WIP seems to be the thing with this particular profile. The problem with my learning curve is that it never seems to flatten out, but I would still like to make them look as though they could actually be flown. This particular view may not go down well with some folks, but who wants to be like everybody else? Lemmings are OK but they just don't last.

We don't give a rat's behind about lemmings. Just as artists throughout history, each artist here has their own unique style. It is that quality of individual style that makes the same profile done a hundred times over so interesting. Don't let the lemmings get to ya!!!
Me and my big mouth. Seems I'd better stick to drawing.
