This is my first post at Simmers Paint Shop. I to make profiles of US Navy Aircraft. My first post is a TOMCAT. VF-2 out of NAS Miramar the last year befour they moved to NAS Oceana.

Thanks for all your kind words. I would like to learn how to make them better. I use Photo shop CS2. Any help would be great.

One technique you can try improving on this drawing is shading. Try to shade your aircraft so the shape comes out better.

I'm adding my few cents too.
First, this is a nice drawing for a first time.
I can remember my first try 12 years ago, and it wasn't that nice.
What you could do is reduce the width of the meshes => thinner lines
This could look more realistic.
or redraw the parts that make the F-14 as vectors.... and shade manually and detail manually using the mesh as a guide that is omitted from the finished piece...
I have the light and the shade as different layers, as are the markings. I would love to learn to make a new line drawing. What is the best way of doing that.
