    Yes Sometimes the colourscheme's distort the shading This way you can get it more uniformly.

    I´m always curious to how other make profiles...you never know you may learn something :-)
    That's the best way to improve IMO.

    I can tell you this technique helped me. I initially used another one, but shaping the aircraft in 50% grey, you make sure the shape is well defined, whatever the future colours will be.

    It's a pain when you create lighting that works fine on one livery and looks bad on another. Then you have to redo of all the work.
