Thanks for your help ! Here´s the lastest sample...what do you think ?
I have tryed to work on the detials you have commented on, but have i nailed it this time ?
Thanks
Your drawing has improved substantially, IMO. I agree with most of Joe's comments. Concerning the undersurface of the wing, you should especially consider this: at the top of the pylon, close to the undersurface, you should have some extra shade. Just a tiny bit, but it needs to be noticeable. If you look at the picture, you will see that it is present. On your drawing, it almost looks like you've added light instead of shade there. Correct this and you will get a more natural looking pylon. You should also add this effect on the lower part of the inner pylon, close to the upper part of the engine. As it is now, it looks like the engine is floating (unsupported) and that the pylon is behind it. That would be a simple correction.Try lighter shading on undersurface of wing compared to pylon--reverse of what you have now (see photo)
Also to be considered:
* Add a little staining on the pylon behind the engine bypass (see pic)
* Your lighting should be a bit more coherent: it seems the shadows are soft on most of the aircraft but hard under the wings (especially on the tank).
* The exhaust thingie on the rear fuselage seems flat-sided but looks rounder on the photo (I don't have a clue as to what it is?)
* One last (and important IMpoint: the shadow cast by the wing on the pylons is too much forward. It doesn't look right. Once again, use Joe's photo as an example.
Sorry for being so picky: I've taken an interest in your drawing (and I suspect Joe has as well). Good thing John is off to Rodos. He's even worst than we are.![]()

Thanks for putting up with our nit picks, but you have a first class product now.

Thanks for all of your help with this project. I think i need to finish the Skyray before doing anything else. But there´s a few candidats for my next profile project...F-14, A-6 or FJ-4B...Don´t know which one i´ll pick yet.
anyway, I have tryed my Viking rendition with some other paintschemes, and added a slightly different shading for the high-viz schemes.
Thanks again !!
