    Re: Question for CS2 Users

    Update:

Received my e-bay purchase today, (CS2) and went ahead and just popped the disk in the drive and went through the normal install procedure.

Not sure what all the fuss was about as CS2 installed and works fine on my Win 7RC machine. (64-bit) Haven't attempted my laptop with Vista on it as I'll be install Win 7 later this month once it's released.

Looks like I may not have to upgrade to CS4 after all.............. well........ not until I decide if I can wrap my head around this program or not.

Many Thanks again for all who have posted and left comments.... I truly do appreciate it. Special Thanks to you Clint for obviously taking some of your personal time and helping with a little research. Again....... I appreciate all the help.

Now..... if someone can just point me to the all inclusive tutorial that will have me painting profiles like the rest of you in about 30 minutes..... that would be super!!! (smile)

    Cheers,
    Steve R.

    Re: Question for CS2 Users

SGTMajor, I'm glad you were able to use CS2.

I have a question for all of you CS2 users:

Is it possible to buy a US version of Photoshop from eBay or somewhere else and use it here in France?

I assume it is possible, but some software has geographical limitations. For me there would be at least two main advantages:

    * the US prices and the USD/EURO rate makes the purchase much cheaper (more than 50%)
    * I wouldn't have to try to translate tutorials and explanations every time

Has anybody ever done that? Heard about that? Thanks.

    Re: Question for CS2 Users

No worries SGTMAJOR, Glad you got it working. Try and see Photoshop through it is very powerful and worthy of the learning curve.

Gamary: It appears that its the serial number that tells the software what language to display itself in, I think? Check this: Adobe: Once you license software in France, you can only use it in French - Boing Boing
