The shadow of the flame "barrier" (or thingie, whatever) is not consistent with the rest: it should clearly reflect the shape of the object.

    Nice job. Keep it coming!

Your "wrinkly" highlights are killer! Good start.
I realize it's still in early WIP stage but here are some things to think of and watch as you progress:
It looks a little less 3D with the panel lines. They aren't too dark yet but watch that just in case. You can roll the opacity back some and add uneven shadows and highlights selectively to pick the panels out more. Just keep thinking subtle with panel lines and rivets and you'll do ok.
Your noise texture is too overall the same IMHO. It ends up looking almost like a fine mottled camouflage. Get some variation in there. Sharper small specks, larger blotches and smooth clean areas. Break it up some and the realism will increase. "Overall" treatments can really make a really nice profile look too mechanical and too busy.

Uh...almost forgot, the exhaust recess is all dark. Try and work that contour more. It should have a darker upper undercut and a slightly lighler lower area. Right now you're only showing the highlight around the outside edges.
Of course a lot of it will get blotted out with exhaust stains, but best get it all in there first
