    Thanks Clint !

I decided to do some more work on the Corsair, so thereŽsthe latest update. I was thinking about making a tutorial about how I got this rendition made, but please let me know if anyone is interested in knowing how I work (in more details that what i have previously descriped).

Iim pretty happy with the texture on this rendition...The paint scheme is just a test scheme..I want to do a night fighetr from the Composite squadrons, but havenŽt decied which one yet.

As always: Suggestions and comments are more than welcome !!

Looking great. Really liking the look of the prop hub. BH is right about the exhaust recess though. The upper portion should be darker. Really not much depth definition going on there. Can't wait to see more.

    ok,

really nice, i do agree with the exhuast comment, standard light source, bottom of recess should be light.

and just one tiny little thing even though it is only test paint scheme, watch your under wing markings, they should follow the airfoil section, and not be flat

    Hi
A tutorial would be interesting dude!

By the way if you want a very quick way of curving your under wing letters, crosses, markings, whatever - copy'n'paste the paths into Illustrator go to Effect>Warp> and Arc. Play around! Works a treat!

    +1

Looks very good IMO. The top of the canopy shouldn't be as dark IMO but the rest really looks great.

So, finially I have got some time to work on the F4U. I have been looking into the exhaust thing, but iŽm not sure that i think it looks 2D. Some of the highlight at the bottom of the exhaust outlet is in teh shade of teh antoglare screen and i donŽt think a stronger highlight work suit that part...what do you think ?
Other than that i have decided what paint scheme i want to do as a first. The VC-3 paint scheme from 1950, has a niche red lightning blot running from the nose down to the antiglare screen. I think iŽll do that one !

IŽll work on a tutorial...hopefully some of you might find something in there they can use. If not you can always read how not to create a profile !
