    Re: Dassault Mirage 2000

    Thanks, guys.

Clint: You're right about the wing tip and rear part, which I haven't started working on yet. There is a cigar shaped fairing on the wingtip which I will need to take care of. That's why I haven't done that whole zone yet. I'm working in an rather irregular/erratic way. Extending the LE highlight further back should indeed do the trick and I'll keep it in mind.

I'll only get back to it in a few days as I'm at work having a super crappy day. Right now I feel like killing some of the kids here rather than draw the Mirage.

Tomorrow I'll be in a better mood.

    Cool Gamary

I didn't realise you hadn't finished that area I need to up my jet game too much stuck in the Luftwaffe at the moment. It might turn out ok with the fairing on the wing tip? I've just found with experience that having a strong highlight on the area closest to the viewer helps it pop right out and look closer to them. Looking really nice though.

Sorry to disappoint you, John, but I finally calmed down. The d**n kid nearly became a potential organ donor. (Although he wouldn't need me to become that. Judging by his behaviour, he's already brain-dead.).

Clint: no problem. As I said, I'm working in an erratic way, so it's a bit hard to keep track of how it's going along, even for me. Doing that section will be a challenge, though.

    Re: Dassault Mirage 2000

Still haven't touched the wing, but I've done some more detail work on the nose, general fuselage shaping and cockpit stuffing:

I'm a bit lost because I like the way my shading/lighting looks like on the grey working base, but not with the normal colours.

Anyway, I'm getting target-fixated, having worked on this for too long today. I'll save it and come back to it tomorrow and see if my brains work any better by then.

It looks fine Gamary. It's just where the lighter colours are adjusting the highlight & shades accordingly. The form is still there mate, looking good!
