Nice fake, though. I must confess I bought it at first and it almost took me out of my current lethargy. I was just wondering: whose F-16 could it have been?, why have I never heard of this before?, and how did they capture it? I mean the Iraqi have been very good at sending their airplanes to foreign countries, not the other way round.

@Supah: the Israeli did manage to make the best out of that situation. The French aircraft industry at the time owed a lot to Israel because they performed wonders with French aircraft and that was very good publicity (although it must be said that the Mirage III was a very good design). So I guess it's doubly unfair to have done what we did, but that is history and politics.

When Israel buys the F-35 and start relying on it too much, do you think they will be able to reverse-engineer it when the US lets them down?
