That last picture is interesting.... Bolted-on plates to keep the gunner from shooting the wing and tail!

    Re: B17G progress

Agree with Jarink last one is interesting.
    Wonder what the #4 means?

I plan to make a profile of Big Stoop too. Same G model.
    See more here 42-31156

I did notice on pictures I have of Big Stoop myself, that the roundels used was of this type..

However I haven't been able to 100% say the same about BTO in the ETO. I have pictures of that one too, but they are more blurred.

    Question Errors on drawing

    Need some advise and comments.

On the picture I have attached, I have added some red lines and rivets as I believe they should be like. Do you agree?

And made a circle around an area where I'm in completely doubt as what it should look like. Because I would say the line drawing is wrong.

Keep up the good work ! I think the shade on the rudder might be a bit too wide, looks like the vertial stabilizer is much thicker than the rudder.

    Re: B17G progress

The correction you made on the riveting does make more sense indeed. As for the aileron, I think you should check with actual pictures. I'm not sure it would be that horizontal. Maybe something in between.

    Cc. the circled area, I haven't a clue. :-(
