    Re: Nieuport 11 WIP

I have got the engine as close I can for now.
I still have to find better ref for the lewis seeing as there were about a dozen types used

My take on Lt. Jean Navarre's Bebe.

You've done a great job of portraying the flimsiness of these machines, it looks like they could snap in half under their own weight.

It must be a prick finding decent period references. Even though there are some nice replicas about now, its not quite the same.

Looks like they were better at killing people than I thought. Thanks for insight. Learning all the time as Benny Hill used to say!

Thanks, I agree GFR, I would not like to have flown um for fun let alone with the "being shot at" bit.

On both sides I think Rat.

Any one help me sort this text out pls?
Its the smaller print I am stuck with.
I can make out the 120k and 65k.

Looking really REALLY good Jester! Try adding a little mud splatter and dirt to the lower rudder and lower rear fuselage.
    BEAUTIFUL!!!!

    About the text-
Check page 45 of Nieuport Fighters Vol.1.
    POIDS UTILE (USEFUL WEIGHT)
    120K
    COMBUSTABLE (ARMAMENT?)
    65K
I don't know that there is a period after the K, or is it a k? The lower arm and serif might just be heavy.

    FAST AND BULBOUS!

Thanks very much BH and I did what you said to do with the tail, but only on the captured on so far.
    Here are 3 more examples, 1 Ni-16 and 2 more bebe's.

I have to reverse the engine on the 16 though
