Re: game does not render well

Sometimes this can depend on the angle of the sun in the game (time of day) and it can happen depending on what shaders are on the game models.

I've never used Aces High, but someone who has experience can probably tell us what we are seeing.

I actually think the un-corrected pics look pretty nice, myself.

Many game engines tend to make the colours brighter.
Graphical settings also have influence on the colour appearance.
I allways use a special layer to darken the skin a little.

A game engine SHOULD change the colour of the skin (and I guess all since say 1995 do it). It will/should:
    - Make the side towards the sun brighter
    - Maybe put shadows onto objects
    - Make it Time of Day / latitude / time of year dependant, for example redder in the evening.
    - Make it weather dependant, for example flying in summer in the UK under a thundercloud your plane will look very different than if there is no cloud
    - Make it dependant on the surroundings, for example moving over blue water or over green grass. HL2 does this for example.
    - light up when guns fire
    - when flying at night, light up from the nav light
    etc

If the colour on screen would always be the same as the skin colour, all of that would be impossible.

Copy that but no mater were i put it time of day turn to sun ect the blue on the skin dose not show or the seperation of light grey to darker gary.

I think what i need to do is make the colors even darker and richer on the skin than i think they need to be
