In 1968 I was 21. I'd already started gathering information and I still have a lot of it now in spite of all the moves. You hold on to what matters I guess. It's amazing what we thought was awesome back then. These books now (and I have a number of them) wouldn't sell if you gave them away unless you are 8 years old. It's amazing to see how far we've progressed. A lot of artists here are far more professional than the junk we got back then. Remember the Profile series? Yes, I have a ton of those too. Today they aren't worth the cost of the paper they were printed on. Then there was the Monogram series. We all thought they were awesome. Very little has stood the test of time. If you do a piece, do you think it will stand up 30 years from now? Think hard now. WE have now found ourselves in the position of the Custdodians of History. Let's hope our work will stand the test of time. It's much more than just a hobby. Do it right the first time!

Good points Otter. However, there are a few giants that stand up today, some, not all, of Uwe Fiest's work still kills me!
