Well, I fear that they are not going to rename this thread.So, I guess I will open a new thread or two in the next few days. Probably call the first one "RNAS colors", and save this one for German colors.

Found this on an auction site the other day. This scrap will set you back £4000.
If you can get down to the Battle of Britain museum at Hawkinge they have a scrap of this lozenge material on display. Sadly no photos allowed. Not sure if it helps? Just out of interest how on earth has anyone been able to accurately document the colours used in this lozenge scheme? Do documents exist. Excuse my ignorance but I know naff all about WW1 stuff.

Now me . . . ., but the wife on the other hand, I think the fabric would be buried along with my lifeless badly mutilated corps.
