Regarding the IL-10 drgs John, I have been looking at pictures of this machine and most of them show an underfin. Does anyone know when or how this came about? It's not on any of the drawings and I wondered if it might just be an experimental idea somebody was trying out......?

Thanks again John, most appreciated. In the meantime here is the corrected IL-2, now pregnant, with a different wing shape, new rear wheel, aerials, undercart covers etc. etc. According to my fearless leader, who is the fount of all knowledge in our house, you are all a right bunch of nit pickers! Incidentally this is a brand new aircraft which the very proud crew, who paid for it with their own pocket money, have just waxed all over, so stop moaning about the finish. The IL-10 will probably come out in primer!

They let it get tatty quite quickly then, all those chips and weathering, I'd ask for a discount if I were them!

Much better shape, but the lines on the canopy are really standing out from the rest of the plane.
