John, that little movie is hypnotic! I couldn't stop watching it.
I'm writing a PM to you about Scammells.

Hi JG, This is coming along well! Watch the size of your machine guns, they look too big to me. I'm not familiar with the vehicle and I could well be wrong, but the size of both the .50 cal and the 7.62 jumped out at me..
If you throw a groundline down under the wheels, it will visually explain the flat tyres. I started doing that and it gives a sense of place to the vehicle, so it's not just hanging in space.
That canvas gun barrel cover works a treat, most convincing.
I hope this helps.

I probably have the worst english you have ever seen... can you explain it?
It means he thinks it's very well done and he likes it.I probably have the worst english you have ever seen... can you explain it?![]()
Thanks
Here is another color test and minor corrections, and a photo off the "real" mockup (1:1 scale) ... the turret is a M8 Greyhound modified... so I draw a M8 turret and made all mods by eye... for me, I think, the dimensions of the browning is correct to the size of the M8 turret... still have to adapt the "pedestal" of the machine gun and put a bit more of details in the turret...

hi JG,
looking better all the time, glad to see you are trying to make the tyres look real, i found that using the deform tool and gentle push the tyre flat works the best![]()
