It's not about being a wuss. I just don't want to keep working on something I know is that wrong. Find me the reference material and I'll start over. Or convince Otters to make accurate B-17 line art. That would be even better.

Actually Gammy I've been eyeballing the B-17 for some time now, but there's so many variants of it I'm sure I'd never get it right. That's the only thing that has stopped me from doing it. Ditto on the Mustang as well.

Hah, B-17 is easy when looking on B-24 variants
But Otter, keeep doing excellent work on Germans and British fingers crossed for you both (Gam and Ot)

While this looks really nice, I must say "Get thee back to the real Fortress!"

EXACTLY my thoughts! Really, there weren't too many variants of B-17 when you only consider the external appearances. Heck, the wing was virtually unchanged from the E model though G. Probably the most variation would be the different cheek window arrangements on the F's, but there still was only about 4-5.

    Re: B-29 Superfortress

Only 4 or 5 variants....really? Then there's the 12 manufacturers with their own spin on things, not to mention Bubba in the back shop who installs ashtrays, beer fridges, low rider landing gear (pimp my flight!) and god knows what else. This is one I'll steer clear of guys. By the way...thanks so much for the confidence in my work. It means a lot to me after all the sweat I've poured into what I produce. There shall be no drawing before its time!

You have to start somewhere though Otterkins and after 5 minutes in MS paint you'd be able to knock the rest out

    Re: B-29 Superfortress

Vas ist mit das "MS PAINT"? Why would I use that when I have the complete CS3 suite as well as Paint Shop Pro and Corel Draw to boot? I have no idea how to use any of those to colour, so why would MS Paint be any different?
