But hello,
The drawings are even better than the factory drawings of Focke Wulf!

Compare our canopies and you'll see what I mean. What Javo is pointing out is that your exhaust panels need to be stepped. Right now they look flush with the body. There is also a double line of rivets along the port side of the spine. Look at the photo where I point out the FuG 25 inspection hatch above. You are also missing the rear MG cowl hinge. You can see that in my canopy sample here. Your cowl guns have insufficient clearance for the cowl to close and your safety harness mounting is wrong at the top of the seat. As far as the wing armament goes, it could have no outboard gun. It could have a Mk 108 kannone outboard as mine does, or 4 MG 151's. Some had no wing guns at all. It depends on the variant you're doing.![]()

Hello everybody,
thanks again for all the valuable advices and the encouragement!
I just finished making the last improvements, mainly at the canopy and the exhaust panel on the top view. I also gave the panel lines on the top view a slight bending - i hope this detail is perceivable. And i also hope to get the green light soon...
@ Otterkins: i know that there are a lot of differences between the versions of the Fw 190 but i think i got some good material about that. I want to make all versions, including the V1 and the C- and S-series etc. Especially the V1 is very tough as there are not many images of that aircraft available...
Your canopy is still far too pointy at the top. Look again please. That is pretty crucial to the overall look. Safety harness attachment point in top view is wrong also. You still have a split hinge on the tail wheel inspection hatch. Your support rod for the headrest is also wrong. You are also missing several small inspection ports on the nose. Rivet detail is wrong on the radio access hatch but otherwise yer good to go. All in all a fine job Herr Huber. What's next?

Hello Bhuber,
when we go into such detail already, I'm also a remark.
The chassis incl cover from above is not true yet.
The spring leg is drawn much too thin, has a 4-square, non-spring and spring rod tube.
Also, the cover would have to be drawn from the top, curved... curses, but the support is curved on the bottom.
The outer arms bulge must also follow the curvature of the longitudinal lines of the wing.

Good call on the landing gear fixes Heli!
FAST AND BULBOUS!
Hello Folks,
i made some more improvements in recent days based on some very good pictures i found on the internet. It turned out that i had to draw the cowling of the fuselage mounted machine guns completely new. I also improved the whole landing gear in top view and added some more details in the cockpit area. Last but not least, i also improved the cowlings of the inner and outer wing guns. As far as i'm concerned i consider this template being finished - now i can start to develop the rest of the Fw 190-versions which is still a hell of a lot work to do...
@ Helischmidt: the rivet lines and all of the panel lines of the wing parallel to flight direction are already slightly curved - i measured to what degree they have to be curved and in all scales - except at a real close up - it is in some areas quite difficult to recognize...
I just want to thank all of you for the great support - especially you, Otterkins!
Maybe the Henschel Hs 123...![]()
Thanks Herr Huber, but I just did what most others here do. There are a lot of great, very helpful people here. I deliberately did not post my drawing here because I wanted you to learn how important proper resarch is, and the critical skill of truely seeing what you are looking at. In the end, it is you who has to be satisfied with what you have done. After all, you are your own greatest critic.
BH
You have drawn a very good FW-190.
To me, I love this plane and follow your post with great interest to see The results so late.
Sorry but my English is not good.
