It happens again: Fw 190 A-8

@ Helischmidt: the rivet lines and all of the panel lines of the wing parallel to flight direction are already slightly curved - i measured to what degree they have to be curved and in all scales - except at a real close up - it is in some areas quite difficult to recognize...

Hi Huber,

your drawing is great, you do you really much trouble.
Only, the flaps also have a V-position. Therefore, one can see the rivets and longitudinal lines from above them and at a slight angle.

The shocks are, in my opinion, in your drawing too thin.

Dear Sirs
I am from Australia and your website is terrific. I have built a 1/4 scale FW 190 and I am now at the final stages of the project in that I am about to start riveting and painting. I have a set of Sierra retracts for it and recently purchased the Inzpan cockpit from the Czech Republic. I was looking at your drawings for the rivet and panel lines and was wondering would I be able to get a copy of the underside if you have them please.

Looking at the rear wheel of the 190 in the pics it looks like the one hanging in the Imperial War Museum in London that I saw a few years ago whilst there. I am also building a 1/4 scale Me 109 if anyone has some diagrams for panel and rivet lines as well.

Many thanks for your thread and all comments, its a bit hard getting good reference pics here in Australia, to say we are a long way from the planes origin is an understatement.
