very nice profiles helischmidt![]()
I think this a very very nice profile ! I can´t judge the authentisity, but the textures are very convincing, I think. If i should put my finger on something, i think the highlight on the vertical stabilizer could be reworked to acheve a more realistic result. Also, try and fade the shadows cast by the horizontal stabilizers and wing toward the bottom the the fuselage/main landing gear housing).
But don´t get me wrong: this is a 1st class profile !!!!

Ilyushin Il-2 AM-38F
Leningrad’s front. White “17”
Aircraft were painted according to the directive n°2389/0133 of July 3, 1943. Upper surfaces were painted standard tricolor scheme: light brown (AMT-1), dark green (AMT-4), dark grey (AMT-12). Under surfaces were painted light blue (AMT-7)
I've decided to rework colors due to newest informations.

That looks really good Maciej! Do check one thing, the rivet pattern on the wheel pods and doors. Those rivets stand out really strong in the shadows. It makes that part of the plane look translucent. Try knocking the intensity of those rivets down in the darker areas and it's go a long way. There are two panel lines under the horizontal tail fillet that are also standing out from the shadows.
The weathering and the slightly gloss highlights are really well done!![]()
FAST AND BULBOUS!
I agree with BH's comments. Really nice profile, Maciej !![]()
Hello Maciej N,
the light reflex, on the vertical tail (front) seems to have fallen out too hard and with little progress.
He is somehow in the picture!
The tail seems to me not placed in the middle ... which you should modify it slightly.
But otherwise, your profile is super class.
Bye
