AP, back to pick on that shadow from the wing leading edge. Here's a plan view showing the changes from the F/A-18E (abrupt discontinuity) to the EA-18G (wedge). There is no longer a "point" as you have it now. Hope this helps!

Dunno what is the position of the sun, and possibly I am wrong, but should not the tail drop a bit of shadow also on the fuselage?

vacajun: you are right, i didn´t quite acheved the wedge, ill make sure to include that on the next update

pkassak: the sun is comming from a 10 o´clock high position to the vertical stabilizer will drop a shadow that´s pointing away from the viewer, acctually you can just notice it behind the VS.
