    Bf 109E skinning problem

    Hi chaps!

It's my first time on this forum, so I hope someone can help me out with this question: I'm working on a heavily weathered skin for the Bf109E, using an old template by Rudel, and I have a problem locating the area on the skin regarding the wing root area just below and aft of the exhaust stacks (see pic). I've tried using adlabs' panel finder tool but no luck I'm afraid. Has anyone any idea where this area shows up on the template?

Many thanks in advance for any help offered.

    S!

Try both sides of the upper nose - cockpit section. If the void and mapping is similar to the G-10 Im working, then there are two narrow "bands" (around 10-20 pixels wide) that you're looking for.

Yes, that is correct Aero. They run right along side the upper nose area on the skin. I used to have an image on the il2skins server that showed this, but it's misplaced on my backups at the moment.
