Nice profile but the tail looks like it needs a lot of work doing to it.
Some time back Otters showed us a nice drawing of the Anson, so I thought someone ought to flesh this out a bit. Foolishly I had a go, and soon found that good pics were practically nil, so more research had to be done and eventually I got what I was looking for. What kept me interested was that this was the very first powered aircraft that I flew in. (It got better after that!). I've included the technicolour version as it makes a nice screensaver!

Thanks for comment Inkworm. As I said, very little close-up detail about this machine, even though many thousands were produced. Couldn't find a decent walk-around anywhere. Liiked your Hart, although the one I've seen seemed to have shiny metalwork over the engine, as I recall. Maybe I'm wrong, so I wouldn't swear to it.

And yeah the Hawker biplanes were aluminium dope finish on the rear and polished on the front, hence the difference in finishes, but recreating the polish when there was a very limited time scale wasn't easy.

Better get on to Otters, JM, it was his drawing that got me going. Lol! Even that didn't quite correspond with what I found when I was digging.
Like they say in the film 'nobody's perfect'.
