My two pennyworth. We are looking some beautiful draughtsmanship here. If there is a further comment to those above, then I would say start 'thinking in 3D'. This way you will be able to get the 'feel' of curved metal structures and the way they react to various lighting conditions. Shadows are rarely solid, mostly they shade out from dark to somewhat lighter. Look under your wing to see what I mean. (This gentleman will surely ultimately lift the bar if he keeps producing work of this quality!)

As nice as these look, and the line-work is undoubtedly fantastic, to me, these profiles just reinforce the limitations of trying to draw a profile using Illustrator, its great for line and form, it just isn't effective when it comes to weathering. And its the subtlety of the weathering that raises the bar each and ever time.
I'll be happy if yamanobe proves me wrong.![]()
I think perhaps GFR might be on to something here, yamanobe. The things youŽll be trying to acheve in Illustrator is so much easer to do in Photoshop, so why not try it out. IŽm sure youŽll learn it very fast (and iŽm sure that everyone in here will provide help if you need that), and the amount of time you spend on learning photoshop will be nothing compaired to the time youŽll spend on doing things as fx. weathering.
just my 2 cents
Just like that! I never heard of anyone jumping straight from one to the other without a significant learning period. However, being able to produce work of this quality in Illustrator shows an ability which can surely be tailored smoothly into PS. If any help is needed, then I am certain there are enough skilled practioners here to explain the nuances.

donŽt worry yamanobe...my english sure isnŽt great, so if you miss something, please just ask and iŽll try to elaborate.
I think youŽll find that the illustrator/photoshop combination is much more efficient than using illustrator alone![]()
It's not WW2 so not exactly my cup of tea. I do recognize brilliance when I see it though. I'm not sure I'd give up on Illustrator though. I've seen some pretty brilliant work produced with it.
Hello.
Thank you for adequate advice.
I reviewed and rework everything.
