    Re: navy spook...again !

It might be a B-model but from that info iīm not convinced, as iīm not sure that 7920 refers to a specific BuNo. 147920 was a F8U-2N and 157920 was a A-4H (delivered to Israel). 137920 and 167920 was made before and after the production line of the Phantom, so my guess is that itīs no more than a exhibit number.

Shapes look great overall so far AP Perhaps the ridge between the titanium exhaust armor and the tail section remains a bit to sharp towards the rear. It should be come less and less sharp a bend there. You wouldn't be willing to slap on a quick and dirty sundowners paintjob would you? Always been my favorite!

I think you might be right Supah ! Damn ! This will be a tricky fix ! I will look into it though.

by the way: thereīs plenty more pictures of the model here: F-4 Phantom WIP – Aircraft Profiles

A sundowner is a must but before that thereīs some scheme i have to do, that being a VF-213 and a VF-31. Then i have to turn the model into a J version and do a VMFA-333 bird.

Sure ! Be happy to help you...thereīs many 3d apps out there, which one do you use (iīm using Modo, which is a complete package with both modelling capabilities and renders engine)...if you are new to teh 3d world, thatīs the app to go for !

    never tried modo..
i used to use 3d max, the theory is the same i suppose, maybe its my patience that cant push it past the initial framework, a tut of this amazing plane would be very welcome... currently have a half finished sabre, mig15, and hurricane , sitting on my drive, years old....
