    Re: my lastest

Uff! This is out of my limited knowledge of aviation...and if it is right, that ugly=british, I am out of this gessing game 4ever...anyway good start, like the shaping shadows.

What is wrong with British aviation design? Name one...actually make that 100 really ugly aircraft. Even the Overstrand has an elegance about it after 15 pints of IPA.
    Harriers...uppy downy things.

The Spitfire was a perfect beauty, the Hunter was an exceptionally clean design with perfect lines, the Lightning was gorgeous in its uglyness but beyond those three the English aviation industry has produced a lot of mingers. Tornado anyone?

Harrier also has it's appeal. Tornado? Still loving it

Tornado is a rather square box with moveable wings, there were so many far more pretty variable geometry machines. The Tomcat for one, not to mention the brutish F-111.

I know Tonka is a box but watching it's low pass at high speed makes him looking somehow fashinating. At least back in 80's when I was a kid and had it often over my head. BTW it's not entirely british, so it's only 33% ugly

    Re: my lastest

The Tonka isn't entirely British so we can't be blamed for that one as you point out Ugo, we haven't done anything else on our own in the last 20 years either! Harrier was fine until we let the yanks play with it and stick bigger wings on (ok so BAE were in on that one).

I don't know how they do it but the Swedes keep turning out nice stuff.

You guys are in denial about Brit aircraft design

Hey John, what is it? It looks SO damn familiar, like a Provost....but with an inline.
What's going on with the trailing edge wing fillet?
