I was SO sure it was a Percival, something like a Provost; they look so similar except for the engine.

Well, that's a good way to prove all British aircraft are ugly. From my point of view, they made pretty aircraft until the late 40's / early 50's. After that, the beer must have been poisoned or something of the sort.gorgeous in its uglyness

Fuselage doesn't look quite round enough compared to the photo, maybe bring the shadow up the fuselage a little but really soften the gradation. Try getting out the graphics tablet to help with the shading, or maybe chopping stuff for dinner?![]()

That's looking real nice mate! Now to make that skin come alive, make a very subtle bump between each rectangle of rivets.
