Here is a pack of four skins dedicated to P47D of the 5th Air Force located in New Guinea between 1943 and 1944.
The first one is the plane of Major John Mc Clure (310th FS Cform the 58th FG. The white stripes on the fuselage are the markings of the squadron leader. Note that this skin is an upgrade of a former one (withe stripes on wings egdges, new OD, new weathering have been added).
The second one is the famous "Pied Piper" also from the 310th FS wich has the n?H54
The third one is a plane frome the 69th FS od the 58th FG. Note the due the wierd mapping of the canopy, I wasn't able to paint the yellow marking on the canopy itself as it was actually done.
And the last one is the plane of the 1st Lieutnant William K. Giroux from the 36th FS of the 8th FG.
