    Heli, are you shure about trhe oil cooler intake? To me it looks that the K-4 prototype had the same one as the G-5 and not the larger one used for the later versions.

    Hi David,

    I can answer you your question until today.

    In my opinion, the radiator cover of the Bf 109 K-1 is greater than that of the G-5.
    The air inlet but the same size.

    Comparisons times the height of the K-1 oil cooler with the radiator of the G-6 (D-FMBB).

    Hey Heli,
    I got around to looking at the JaPo K book and I see that the profile there also has the white panel cover as featureless and plain white so I guess you are in good company

    I do agree that the cooler looks bigger.
