    John, is there a way you could help the pod on the end of the wing pop from the fuselage a bit more. It looks ok around 3/4 of the pod but on the area where the red of the pod meets the red of the fuselage it's kinda blending together. Do you see what I mean? Perhaps make the the dark shading along the top of the pod a bit more visible to make the top front part of it look separate from the fuselage.

    Looking at the red areas of the fuselage, I think that you either need to reduce the opacity of the white layer by quite a bit, change it to Overlay/Soft light or just delete it altogether. Just looks to be washing out the colour for mine.

    The wing tip looks about perfect, I think it may be because it doesn't have the strong reflected light of the lower fuselage.

    what you see there GFR,
    is the basic highlight/shadow i started with, thats one of the tweeks that needs doing
    and as Ugo and Richard pointed out i forgot the wing/tailplane shadow
