    Re: F4U-7 Corsair

    Hello,

Thank you for your compliments and your comments.
Here the photo of the crashsite.

Here the translation of the text under the drawing, with the translator babylon because my English is very bad, sorry...

"It is the result of a crash program in the field of Khourigba and executed by a student pilot of the 57S. When a take-off for a mission of navigation, the maps on his knees to fly (takeoff glass roof open). By reflex, he loose the handle to catch up. The plane will take off any single but not having enough speed to refitting brutally. The pilot then takes over the controls to take off. A monitor from the 57S takeoff shortly after find the debris of tires on the track. It is quickly the approximation with the aircraft before and after visual inspection in flight of the train, it is decided to make land The Corsair sunken landing gear. The latter is running for some time to consume the maximum amount of fuel and made the landing on the runway of a crash in the airport. Results: pilot unscathed - for the airplane: propeller and engine to change - under the wings, only devices for attaching the bombs have been damaged. It seems to me that the aircraft flies back by the following."

it is true, I could have made more damage under the fuselage…

Thats ok, so is mine and Its my native tongue.

There is certainly nothing wrong with your drawing tho, its superb!

One little detail that you may want to add is strip the paint off the props that have struck the ground, so that it matches the image supplied. Minor detail. sure, but an important one, me thinks.

The crash site looks amazing, MehPhil!
    I especially love the terra...

P.S.: The only thing I'd rethink is that the fuselage should dig just a tiny little bit deeper into the ground... You've made a slight white outline under the nose and the landing flaps -- it contrasts with the bushes/ground and gives strange weird effect: I'd recommend removing it... Other than that -- it's perfect idea to make crashing stuff...

Did the pilot bother to close the canopy?

    Hi all,
A little time to draw, here some modifications. The aircraft based on its nose and the bombs rack and the flaps does not touch the ground.
