Here's another update. I've finished the shapes and details (I think and hope I have, that is) and will now start the weathering.
Lemme know whadyathink.
Looking better but I think what I want to see will happen much later![]()

Hi!
Nice work, but still think the wing root doesn't fit. See here: http://www.warbirdphotographs.com/LC...90-136af-s.jpg
Also check your antenna-cable at the cockpit! I miss one: See here: Luftwaffe Color Profiles: Focke Wulf Fw 190 A-8/R11, flown by Günter Migge (Scroll down to the detail shots of the cockpit section)

Cheers,
The 190 is now "operational":
Thanks for your feedback, Simon. I'll look into the missing wire. I've modified the wing root a bit and made the highlight less sharp. Thanks for the picture, which is of high quality, but was taken in what looks like luminous but overcast conditions, which hides the shapes more than direct sunlight.
just a minute,
ya can't fly that without marking, you would be shot down by your mates![]()

Fair enough. Here goes #1, with a thought for Otters.just a minute,

This one was flown by Johannes Naumann of 6./JG 26 based in Lille in July 1943.
Nice one.... just one remark. For me the svastika and the balkenkreuz is too shinyespecially the underwing one

Can I see a detail shot of the cowling and gun hood area please?
FAST AND BULBOUS!
Hi Gamary!
Really nice, but have to agree Peter! The markings should be a dark gray and never black. Are you sure about the style of the swastika? I have no reference pic at the moment, but this style was not really common.
What I don't like so much is your tail. The rudder looks very flat. There are too less lights and shadows to define the shape.
The wing root looks better now.
As far as I know the Fw190A-6 didn't have a complete main wheel cover, so you should see a opening of the uncovered part.
Cheers, Simon
Thanks for your remarks, guys. I'll modify the profile cc. the black of the markings. I'll look into the tail as well. I thought the shape definition was OK but perhaps the mottling and colours have minimized it.
@Dave: coming to you by email.
As for the swastika, the photos I have show it was not in the standard dimensions, but "thinner", which is what I've represented here.
As for the inner wheel cover, this aircraft had it on the port side, but not on the starboard side (true!) so the profile is correct in that respect as long as you don't flip it around!![]()
