Impressive!
Another airbrush painting. A Queen butterfly, landed on some Ageratum. Rendered on 11x14 canvas covered board. Paints are those same craft paints, and some color pencil and acrylic for detailing.
Still a few touch up areas, but it's about done.

Well, thanks. This has become a nice change of pace.

Painting #4 done.

I'm going to focus on the model train again now. I've also acquired a mat cutter for framing some of these paintings (and that motorbike), so I'll spend some time there, too.

My Amaryllis from this past Christmas. Rendered in acrylic on 8x10 inch canvas board. Lessons learned up to now, I'm going to build a better/higher/more vertical easel for my work bench. And I'm going to experiment with priming and then sanding my next canvas board to a smoother surface, for easier work with the razor knife on the frisket.

Morpho Peleides, rendered on 11x14 canvas board. No priming and sanding the canvas, as mentioned prior. Changes to my workflow have eliminated the need for this, letting me retain the canvas texture.
Winter is still hanging on, so still no progress on that new easel.

Check back through this thread to see new color corrected images of my prior paintings.
