Here's an update on the 47 and I think this is the P-51 that was published, can't actually remember without seeing a copy of the mag and sadly I don't get a free copy.
Harriers...uppy downy things.
Everyone in publishing is saving money still![]()
Harriers...uppy downy things.
At least you no doubt got handsomely remunerated...right?
Thanks, that's the one that I saw published in IIRC, Aeroplane. Looked even better printed across a double page spread at a decent rez and without any watermarks.![]()
I love the job over P-51, Inky!
P.S.: I came to the conclusion that P-51 is the rare kind of plane that's somehow just can't look bad on any print!![]()
Nice work as always Chris![]()
FAST AND BULBOUS!
It's very difficult to prepare such big aircraft - to show it in right way. You did it - very nice.
Maybe at grey profile I see a little unperfect prepared dark shadow at bottom of aircraft - in my opinion it should look not wavy.
All the rest is very good!

Chris, most beautiful work!!
I know you are not a believer, but the leading- and trailing-edges of the shadow cast by the horizontal tail on the aft fuselage IMHO should be curved because of the sweepback of the tail and the round fuselage.
