Superb work Christian!
Hi everybody!
My name is Christian, im a graphic designer and aviation illustrator from Argentina. I know some of you, great artists and illustrators (specially Ugo and Javo) from facebook, websites, and from this forum, which i´ve been visiting since last year!
I really enjoy and learn from this forum. Here is some of my work, for some books and personal artwork. Hope you enjoy it!!![]()
not sure about the colours on the Argie A4 but don't think Having or I ever agreed on it.could just be as I'm looking at it on the phone.
Great stuff though and lovely weathering.
Harriers...uppy downy things.
Thank you all of you!!
Iíll try not to put the watermarks, or do it more subtle for the next profiles
About the scheme of the A-4C, there are many discussions everywhere! now im searching for new photos, and it seems the A-4C had the two schemes, brown and dark olive. This one, the C-322, was made from a photo, and it seemed to be dark brown, but because of the shadows and lightning of that photo. Maybe its was dark olive.
Im drawing some new C with the correct scheme during the Falklands War by studying new images.
Yo Billy! Nice stuff! You've got a few A4 friends here![]()
FAST AND BULBOUS!
Un Gran Artista!!!!
Bienvenido!!!!

What a lovely A-4! I do not know much about the A-4 but I loved your profile Christian. The person on the ground added a lot to the artwork. If you also make the pilot look down on the instrument panel (as if he is checking the gauges before take-off), your work would be more interesting. Lovely underbelly tank, lovely weathering of an highly respected air force. You may still put more detail on the ejection seat, and some weathering on the canopy frame + the landing gear door + antenna behind the cockpit.
As for the watermarks, simply get rid of them as Heli mentioned.
I would also love to see a weathered Etendard. While the 214 may be a cleaner bird, this photo of 211 (http://www.airliners.net/photo/Argentina---Navy/Dassault-Super-Etendard/1386268/L/&sid=292406ad3ecf0ecb7a2d21993d3880de) may give you some idea on weathering.
Looking forward to see the Falklands A-4.
