    Re: The Marathon: Alpha Jet

Thanks, Simon. I'm usually not nearly that fast, though. I've been doing only that since yesterday and left everything else aside. If it weren't for my wife, the place would be crawling under dirty dishes and laundry, and the cat would have starved by now.

@Hans-Jürgen: I'll be doing the Patrouille de France one first, then probably taking a small break, especially since tomorrow is my birthday.

After that, I'll do some French ones of course, and perhaps some German ones as well. I rather like the colour schemes on the German birds, and the difference aren't that great (although the seats are different, which means I'll have to redo them).

Another update: all that is left to do is the wing and some weathering. Oh, and I'll need to add the ventral pod for the PAF one, but that is a quick job.

    Hello,

one of my first color drawings of 1989.
Everything was created with Pantone adhesive films.

Time to go drink a birthday beer now.

BTW, don't forget that today is also John's birthday. Does anyone have news of him?

Lovely work. You have a very distinctive (in a good way) style that I'd recogise anywhere.

Happy birthday to you and John, just in case he happens to be still reading these boards.

Nothing on john but hope he's having a good day with lots to complain about. Nice scheme and a great profile.

    Glad you guys like it.

I sent John an email but no reply yet. He must be brooding.
