Welcome, Thierry! Your work is well known here so it's nice to see you join us. I'm afraid you're not the oldest person on SPS. ;-)
Hi all,
If I 'm new in this forum, (there are some good things here),
I'm not a beginner in Photoshop, I have started my professional activity with photoshop 6.0 in...2001 !
It's seems well I'm maybe the first to have used this software as professional aeronautical illustrator,
and the older man of Simmer paint shop...I'm born before 1960
Here a Spit Mk IX profile for the next issue of "Batailles Aériennes n°75
"and a Gladiator MkI for next issue of review "AVIONS" n°. 209

Just wondering, and I'm not trying to show you up or anything, but Claes Sundin started with Photoshop in 95 and published in 97. I did a lot of airbrushing in the mid 80s including a few profiles. I started illustrating with Photoshop 4, just before 5 came out, but didn't do any profiles until recently. A lot of us go back pretty far. I believe Thomas Tullis goes back to the late 90s as well at least 95 or 96. Of course Bob Pearson goes WAY back to 1997. And who is the oldest guy here? Where is that John Smith guy?
BEAUTIFUL metal finishes by the way!![]()
