    Great skin, so soft yet so clear. I wonder, though, are the Chinese and RAF roundels placed together on the second pic just for demonstration purposes, or...?

    I didn't know that - in fact, I assumed that the Tigers' machines were supplied direct from U.S. stocks. No, huh?

    Thanks!

    It seemed that those british markings were painted directly at Curtiss Fartory. This Hawk had to be send to the British, but indeed they were bought by Chinese Governement (The british accepted this deal!)

    Th 75 was the only Hawk with this kind of markings.

    You can see, dark earth circle on top wing and on each side of the fuselage, it's the place where Brit Roundel had to be painted. Directly painted by Curtiss. The plane was painted piece by piece (not assembled) so when they were assembled in Burma, the camouflage didn't match on some parts....

    Sorry for my poor english!

    Much better than my French - I've almost given it up over at Simulation France!
