Wow, very nice! It makes mine look like crap! Would you like to repaint Target Rabaul's SBD too while it's still fresh in your mind?

I would probably like to give it a try, but I'm kind of pinched for time on projects right now.

Anyway, I was gonna try some heavier weathering effects (Guadalcanal style heavy wear), but it might have to wait, so I just finished this one up.

SBD-3 flown by Lt. Richard Best and Chief Radioman James F. Murray, VB-6, USS Enterprise, 4 June 1942.

I had to do something about the cockpit too.

Unnumbered version included. Find it here.

NP RONNCO, but let me know and I'll set you up with poly/uv maps and my TGAs. I could even make a set of templates from what I have
And, if you were inclined, you could even suggest 3D changes, our model could probably stand an update.
Anyway, tell me if or when you want that stuff and where to send it

Lol, the fun parts didn't take long at all. Building the rivet set up from photographs took forever. Oh, and mating the weathering seams on the wing fillets.

What exactly did you do to the rivets on the wings? The ones that appear light grey. It looks like you did something with them, other then just painting rows of dots. But I can't figure out exactly what. Great skin!! It can use a bit of scratching maybe but this skin clearly shows an able hand.

I might have to nick your rivet set R0NNC0, looks like a top job there.
