What exactly did you do to the rivets on the wings? The ones that appear light grey. It looks like you did something with them, other then just painting rows of dots. But I can't figure out exactly what.

I usually duplicate the rivets, move the layer up top beneath the mechanicals, make them a good shade of gray at 100% opacity, soft brush erase the ones I don't want, then a little dodge and burn.
