    Shy Pilot Skins

    ~S~ fellas
g'day from down under , LOL
Ok where to start? Getting faces onto my pilots have been easy and works well. What i am having trouble with is when i go to change the flight suite area. I want to give it different bodies so that when the "chute" out they are in correct dimensions, at the moment, my parrachuting pilots look all lumpy, bloated or too tiny etc. All my proportions are wrong and i cant get them right. ARe there any rules/tricks regarding size and dimensions in replacing the flight suites of the pilots with my own customs?
I thought i had a nice, topless Nicole Kiddman who would look great parrachuting down, but when i checked her out she had a body like a over stuffed wallruss : ( LOL.
    hope you can help
    regards

    Which sim is it for?

Anyway.. Changing a skin does not change the shape of the pilot. So, you cannot make the bulky man into a nice and slender woman...

    Re: Pilot Skins

If your Doing it for IL2 ?

I haven't skinned a pilot in some time but here is what I pulled out of my old notes.
Open PSP ( or your particular painting program) Copy the pilot skin to your desk top.
You will be doing all your cropping and resizing in PSP for now.
When your done make sure to size your skin to the following dimensions
    128x64 pixel's.
    set the color at 256
save this as a windows o/s bmp to your desktop or where ever you work on this sort of thing at.
open a photo editor and make sure the pixel size is set at ( 72)
when you name your pilot skin make sure there are no spaces in the name or the game will not see it, if you have to have a space put an under score in to separate example( De_11) or ( Charlienavy).
It's simple but also a pain because of the pixel size's.
    Hope this helps.
