Cant Save LOMAC Skins

Plz help im new to skinning and need some help.
When i try "save as" my skins in Photoshop CS2 in any format it comes up with the file name and could not save because file is already in use or was left open.

Plz help ive tried everything!
and i would realy like to start skinning!

I know that this error can happen when you have two copies of the same file open.
Have your tried using another filename?
And when trying another format, do not use the .psd extension (or what ever extension the original file has).

It might also be a problem with that original file. Test some other files and see if you can change and save them.

I have used another filename and dont use the psd extention it still does it.Ive also used many differant files but it only seems to happen with psd files not jpegs or anything.

Though i look through some more forums and found one and it had something to do with changing the saving prefences and when i looked there is no menu under prefences called saving so i dont know what to do...

Can you point me to that message telling about the preferences?
In preferences I do see File Handling, maybe that contains the option they are talking about.

Go to preferences and then "File handling" and set "Image Previews" to "Never Save" hopefully that helps. Otherwise we need to keep searching for the reason of this problem.

i've tried that but doesnt work thanks anyway ill jsut have to use GIMP
