So far I've had no feedback except it's looking great! But I finally did manage to find words for my reaction to seeing this front view-
THAT'S ONE SILLY LOOKING PLANE FROM THE FRONT!!!

Sometimes the simplest of poses is the hardest to convey. Sure looks like the complex under-wing shadowing will make or break the sense of wing shape. That heavy,shape-defining shadow immediately under the wing leading edge per your Airliners.net pic appears to be missing.

This lowly servant is not worthy of commenting on use of shadows to shape, but King Blowhard will come through?!

Methinks it's looking great.

I think I know what you mean, it is looking a bit flat and two-dimensional. Maybe throw a cast shadow on it. If you put a light source top left it will give you a whole new world of shading to play with where the fuselage shadow hits the wing and will let you deepen the shadows under the fuselage to take the belly tank further away from you.

I tried downloading your pic to have a play but it didn't work.

Im trying to keep the lighting as simple as possible at the moment due to time constraints... front top keeps it simple... yes agreed on another direction tho...maybe if i get time THEN it well change but has it stands time is hot on my heels... also..please PLEASE dont try to (play) with my work.. this is a paid exercise and compromises my self and Phoenix-Art's position no matter how well intentioned!..... keep the ideas comin folks
